The Dry Bar

Not all of our time in the past few weekends has been spent tending to sick Littles (though it feels like there hasn't been much else going on). Just before Audrey got sick, we found ourselves going after our long-misused dry bar with four new wine glass racks and an oscillating saw...

...and I totally forgot to share our project in this space! This was the quick and dirty kind of home improvement project that I love: straightforward, impactful, and requiring only about an hour.

All we had to do was empty the cabinet, cut half the middle shelf out (to accommodate taller bottles that previously had to be stored elsewhere- so dysfunctional!), attach the wine glass racks, and then reorganize and replace the gear. Presto change-o, now we have a dry bar that makes my Type-A personality sing! Everything in one place, everything relevant to cocktail hour together, ready, and waiting.

What more could a gal ask for?
