I just had to share this, so please humor me... I received this message from Henry's homeroom teacher today. I am so proud of how he's working to make the most out of this weird situation. He asked me the other day, "Mama, I know you'll probably say no, but I really wish I could go back to school for the last nine weeks... just so I can see what fourth grade is like." It almost broke my heart. I told him he needed to do his best for the rest of the year the way things are, that we were still concerned with safety, but with the vaccine aaaaalmost available to us, I would do my best to get him back in the classroom for fifth grade.
And then this:
He's holding up his end of things. I better hold up mine!
