Today we got up before sunrise. We had blueberry muffins and apple slices (and two cups of joe for me), and got Sister to school on time. Then we came back home, let the chickens out, gave them the apple cores from breakfast, and cleaned up the dishes.
Today felt like a good day to get out, so we delivered some Christmas gifts to some friends. Then we hurried back home to receive another round of counter top guys who were back for some caulk touch-up.
Today we did several loads of laundry, and Bubba got to take a nap in Mama and Daddy's bed. During nap time I finally started that big holiday gift project that's been put off since mid-summer (ahem).
Today we were almost the last car in the pick-up line, but Sister said she wasn't worried. When we got home the Legos came out, and everyone was able to play together nicely while dinner was being made. There was only one worksheet for homework, and there were lots of bubbles at bath time.
Tonight we pulled out the fuzzy pajamas and read The Tomten. Everyone got mouthwash and were tucked in under the glow from their turtle nightlights.
Tonight, after sneaking out in the dark to close up the chicken coop, I saw two shooting stars.
Today was a good day.
