...so excited... we have peas growing in the garden! I've read that not many Texans succeed in harvesting peas from their gardens due to our fickle and hot weather... we'll see! Still, the sprouts are exciting!
...really liking the new February desktop wallpaper/calendar from gennine.com.
...feeling disappointed in the comedic value of this years' Super Bowl commercials.
...chuckling at a little wagon play this past week- there may not be snow on the ground, but that isn't stopping anyone from 'sledding'!
...enjoying a new book, At Day's Close: Night in Times Past, and feeling thankful for modern commodities like electricity.
...listening to a light, early morning rain falling against the windows.
...thinking about making another batch of homemade pasta, as the most recent one was entirely consumed in one sitting (and no one noticed that it was a semolina/whole wheat blend this time!).
...loving purple fingers and faces after breakfast, thanks to the little piles of fresh blackberries with our oatmeal in the mornings.
