Wild Babies

Lookie what we found in the front yard:

Alas, Leeloo found the first one, but these two got away, and I was able to show them to my Wild Babies before kicking the dog back into the house and restoring them to their nest.

There were several pleas for making them members of the family, but bottle-feeding cottontails who will turn around and demolish our future gardens didn't make for a very strong case... so we tucked them back into their fur-lined nest and hoped the mama would come and get them... and she did.

Whew.

They were cute, though.
