Playing along with Amanda today... in her words: {this moment} - A Friday ritual. A single photo - no words - capturing a moment from the week. A simple, special, extraordinary moment. A moment I want to pause, savor and remember.
That fuzz coating everything (everything.) is dry cattail seeds. They are superfine and if you pinch the cattail when they're dry, they simply explode. Everywhere. Like a magic wand, or so my daughter says!
The first thought that popped into my head "Seed Dispersal" I was homeschooled and as part of our ongoing nature studies, we would help the various plants/pods disperse their seeds--shouting to the winds "Seed Dispersal"!
We have a guessing game going on in today's {this moment} http://likemamalikedaughter.blogspot.com/2012/12/this-moment.html
so much magic in such a simple moment!
ReplyDeleteThose simple moments are the best way to find that magic, don't you think? Thanks for stopping by!
DeleteWhat is that? It looks like fun!!
ReplyDeleteMy moment is my daughter and my dad, but it reminds me of my daughter and Santa Claus!
