Audrey's Play, Part II

Checking in on this a-may-zing Thursday afternoon. The sun is shining, the cool, crisp breeze is blowing, the bees are buzzing, the tea kettle is whistling, and for all intents and purposes, the house is in somewhat fair shape, all things considering. It's been a good day so far.

OK, OK, so as far as the house goes, it's not really in ship-shape... if I'm being honest, there are a few (ahem) dishes in the sink, there are sandbox toys scattered everywhere in the back yard, there is some laundry to be done, and so on, but most of the house is in fair shape.

Most of the house, anyway...

...until you get to Audrey's room. It looks like a free-for-all mess, doesn't it? To the untrained eye, indeed it does. What's funny about finding this at the end of nap time is the realization that it is not a free-for-all. Oh no. Every single thing out of place in that photo is quite intentional.

What, exactly, was that intention? I have no idea, and probably never will. I can only imagine.

I'll leave you to savor, to wonder, to ponder, and if you're like me, to chuckle at this crazy girl and her most intentionally random play.

Happy Thursday... enjoy.
